Do you like doomed-out soundscapes? Sure, we all do, and Meatjack guitarist Brian Daniloski is serving up a healthy portion thereof on his debut as darsombra. The one-man experimental affair features layers upon layers of guitar feeback/noise, sampling, drum machines, sitars and drone, presented in an extremely personal package as a collection of what sound like home recordings. Whatever method was used to capture them, darsombra's songs (there are six here) test the limits of the imagination and they are no less engaging to hear than they must have been to create.
